Introducing the Easton Martial Arts Center Kabataan Mandirigma – Youth Warrior Training Program

Almost every culture has had a special “Warrior Class” made up of elite individuals who were specially trained to fight for and defend their families and communities.  Europe had the Knights; Japan had the Samurai; Korea had the Hwarang; China had the Wuxia.  In the Philippines, this class of elite warriors were called the Mandirigma.

15 Week Program – Each Program Focusing on a different topic

Our First Program will run from September to December.  It meets once a week for ½ an hour after regular class time.  One class for Juniors (10-17 years old) on Wednesdays and one class for Children (7-9 years old) on Thursdays.

Our focus will be on the 8 Cardinal Principles of the Easton Martial Arts Center – Respect, Humility, Character, Discipline, Self-Control, Sincerity, Etiquette, and Loyalty.  We will examine how each of these principles applied to the elite warriors of the past and how they can teach us to be modern warriors for our family and community.

Each student will receive a 3-ring binder, and every week they will receive a packet of reading material, homework, a notepaper to record their notes and thoughts.
